Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba arrived in the Syrian Arab Republic to discuss international and bilateral Abkhazian-Syrian agenda items.

On December 12, 2023, Inal Ardzinba, together with Brigadier Generals of the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Arab Republic, visited the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in Damascus, where he paid tribute to the memory of the Heroes of Syria who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the country.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia also visited the Museum of Military Glory of the Syrian Arab Republic and left his entry in the Book of Memory.
