The international conference "International Urban Mobility Dialogue" ended last week in Berlin. It was organized by Academus Berlin GmbH and brought together the representatives of administrations of different cities of the world as well as business, scientific communities and civic associations.
The event was attended by delegations from Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Russia, India, Canada, Israel, Nigeria, Morocco, South Africa and others.
Vakhtang Pipiia, the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia on State Property Management and Privatization and Khibla Amichba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) were invited to the conference from Abkhazia. V.A. Pipiia was unable to attend the event for objective reasons. Kh. Amichba spoke at the conference, welcomed participants and guests, gave information on the Republic, expressed gratitude for interesting reports, presentations and invited them to Abkhazia, emphasizing the importance of sharing experience in such innovative projects on behalf of V.A. Pipiia as well as on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. The format of the event included a 4-day program as well as a Parade of Cities.
The result of such dialogues should be a strategy worked out together for a long and smart urban mobility, which is practical and focuses on the needs of society.
