The meeting was held between the representatives of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey and A. Logua, N. Smyr, V. Bebia, the Deputies of the People's Assembly-Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia with Dogu Perenchek, the Chairman of the «Vatan» party in the office of the «Vatan» party, in the city of Istanbul, on February 26,2020.
Dogu Perenchek informed on further lobbying for the recognition of the Republic of Abkhazia, on the steps taken in this direction as well as on the meetings with the leaders of Turkish parties, the representatives of the socio-political movements and the officials of government bodies of Turkey.
A. Logua, the Deputy of the National Assembly-Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia expressed his readiness to continue to support work aimed at deepening of the relations between the Republic of Abkhazia, the Russian Federation and the Turkish Republic.
The meeting was held between the representatives of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey and A. Logua, N. Smyr, V. Bebia, the Deputies of the National Assembly-Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia with Dr. Feridun Yylmaz, the Vice-Rector of the University, Professor a day earlier, at the University of Uludag in the city of Bursa. As part of the meeting, the discussion was held on the issues of inter-university cooperation, in particular, the exchange of students and their practical training, a program for the exchange of learning experiences between the teaching staff of two universities as well as the preparation of an agreement on cooperation between universities.
The meeting of the representatives of the «Vatan» political party - Syulyuk Hussein Erman, the Deputy Chairperson of the party’s head of international relations and Haji Dektash Aykut, the Chairman of the party’s branch in Bursa was also held with in Bursa. One of the topics of discussion was the issue of promoting a positive image of the Republic of Abkhazia through the media.
