On December 2, 2022, at the Media Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, a Memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Demographic Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Ministry of Health of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on cooperation in the field of healthcare, social development and social protection.

The signing took place online.

The document was signed by the Ministers of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Eduard Butba and Kristina Albul, the Minister of Social Welfare and Demographic Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia Ruslan Adzhba and the Minister for Social Protection and Labor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Elena Kulichenko.

The signed Memorandum provides for the creation of organizational economic and other necessary conditions and mechanisms for the development of cooperation in matters of healthcare and social security of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, based on the principles of equality and interaction.
