Yaoska Calderón, the Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela visited the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela on September 10, 2018 to express her condolences to Zaur Gvadzhava, the
Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia on the occasion of the tragic death of Gennady
Gagulia, the Prime Minister of Abkhazia.

The Ambassador expressed her deepest sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the brotherly
government of Nicaragua to the people of the Republic of Abkhazia and the family of Gennady
Gagulia.

Fernando Rivero and Mario Arias, the deputies of the National Constituent Assembly also
expressed their sincere condolences and noted that they understand the pain that the people of
Abkhazia are experiencing, because in 2013 they felt this pain when Commander Chavez died.
The deputies wished great strength to all the people of Abkhazia and the family of the Prime
Minister.

A visit of more than 25 ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, representatives of various
ministries and international organizations is also expected. They have already confirmed their
visit to express their deep condolences.
