On December 2, on the occasion of the 51st National Day of the UAE, which marks the declaration of independence of the formation of a federation in the UAE, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic, Counselor of the RA Embassy in the SAR Muhammed Ali, at the invitation of the Chargé d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Damascus, Counselor of the Embassy Abdul Hakim Al-Nuaimi took part in the reception, which took place at the Al-Asad House of Culture and Art.

During the event, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Abkhazia in Syria Muhammad Ali handed over to Abdul Hakim Al Nuaimi a note from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of the 51st National day of UAE.

The event was attended by representatives of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic and foreign diplomats accredited in the country.
