Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia participated in the meeting with Samuel Moncada, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on July 26, 2017.

The meeting was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela "Casa Amarilla". It was attended by Elias Jaua, the former Minister of Education, Alexander Yanes, Deputy Minister for Latin American Affairs, Ambassadors and Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela and other representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.

Samuel Moncada, the Minister of Foreign Affairs accused the opposition of intending to aggravate the situation in the country. The Minister said that the opposition social strata are thus going to obstruct the elections to the Constitutional Assembly (SC) scheduled for July 30.

He also said that the Government of Venezuela rejected the threats of the US administration headed by Donald Trump on "quick economic action" against the entire population of Venezuela.
