On July 20, 2022, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in a meeting headed by Nicolás Maduro Moros, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on the occasion of the "Coming into force of the Law on Special Economic Zones".

During a meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in Venezuela and high-ranking government officials, President Nicolas Maduro approved the "Law on Special Economic Zones" in order to enhance the country's industrial development, ensure stability and strengthen the national economy. This law will become a fundamental engine for changing of the country's production model.

The solemn meeting was held at the International Center for Industrial Investments in the city of Caracas.
