Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba announced the preparation of the Republic of Abkhazia for participation in the next round of Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia scheduled for April 4-5.

Inal Ardzinba noted:

"We are preparing for the next round to be held on April 4-5. We hope that once again that they will not be unilaterally rescheduled, and that there will be no organizational and technical difficulties, including with obtaining visas for our employees and other participants.

We will demand the signing of an agreement with Georgia on the non-use of force and the recognition of our state sovereignty.”

The Foreign Minister said that the Abkhazian side is in close coordination with the Russian and South Ossetian colleagues.
