Daur Kove, Foreign Minister of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister on the occasion of the celebration of National Unity Day.

It is noted, in particular:

"This day represents the unity of the peoples of Russia of different nationalities and religions. It also shows us that the love of citizens for their homeland overcomes all difficulties and challenges, no matter how difficult they may be.

A constructive dialogue has been established between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation, and inter-State relations are actively developing in a variety of areas. The foreign ministries of our countries are successfully co-operating in resolving issues on the bilateral agenda.

I am convinced that Abkhaz-Russian interaction will continue to develop fruitfully for the benefit of our friendly peoples».
