The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in connection with the attack occurred on December 17 in the city of Kayseri.

The note reads, in particular:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia expresses deep condolences over the loss of human life caused by the terrorist attack in the city of Kayseri. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemns terrorism in all its manifestations and expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured."
