The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a letter of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Zarsky tragedy.

In particular, it is noted:

“This inhuman act of violence cannot leave anyone indifferent, and the time that has passed since the tragedy to heal the wounds from the losses. The monstrous crime of Georgian fascism against civilians will not be erased from the memory of the people. Zarsky tragedy will forever remain in our hearts.

On this mournful day, the fraternal people of the Republic of Abkhazia, together with the people of South Ossetia, honor their bright memory and mourn the untimely departed. ”
