The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Vanuatu on the occasion of the Independence Day.

The note says:

"July 30, 1980 is the most important milestone in the development of the state, the Independence Day and the beginning of the new era in the history of the Republic of Vanuatu.

The relations of friendship and cooperation that have developed between our states are highly appreciated in Abkhazia. We are convinced that the agenda of our interstate cooperation will be full of mutually beneficial projects."
