The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent the congratulatory note to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu on the occasion of the Independence Day.
It is said:
"October 1, 1978 is the significant date in the history of Tuvalu and is the symbol of your nation`s desire for freedom and independence.
The nation of Abkhazia highly appreciates friendly relations based on mutual respect and trust that have developed between our states. We are convinced that we will continue to develop and strengthen cooperation in various fields for the benefit of our peoples".
