The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the occasion of the state holiday - the Day of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The note says, in particular:

 “The adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the South Ossetian Soviet Democratic Republic on September 20, 1990 is one of the most important historical events for the country.

This day embodies the courage and unity of the South Ossetian people, their love for the Motherland.

Today, South Ossetia is developing dynamically and strengthening its position in the international arena. We are confident that the historically established relations of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia will continue to develop progressively.”
