The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent the congratulatory note to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the National Flag.

The congratulation says, in particular:

"The white-blue-red flag is the symbol of the Russian statehood, rich history of its heroic people. The colors of the Russian flag symbolize strength, faith, nobility, love for the Fatherland - those qualities that at all times were the personification of the Russian spirit, helped accomplish feats, win and demonstrate outstanding labor, scientific, cultural and sporting achievements. The legendary tricolor asserts the continuity of generations strengthens the patriotic spirit, unites the different peoples of Russia in their desire to make their country the mighty and prosperous state.

The Day of the State Flag of Russia is the holiday of all generations of Russians who rightly take pride in their truly great Motherland. "
