The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent the congratulations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the 200-th anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Carabobo.

“The day of June 24, 1821 is dedicated to the memory of the historic battle in the struggle for Venezuela's independence from the Spanish Empire. Simon Bolivar's decisive victory in this battle paved the way for Venezuela's independence.

The relations between our states are developing successfully in various fields today. We are convinced that the further development of a constructive and fruitful dialogue will continue to contribute to strengthening of the ties between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the interests of the peoples of our countries.
