The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the tragic death of the citizens in the fire in the commercial center of the city of Kemerovo.

It is said:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with a sense of deep sorrow received news of the tragedy that occurred in the shopping center in the city of Kemerovo as a result of which dozens of people including children were killed. We are deeply shocked and horrified by such sad news which have tremendously affected our hearts.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased and wish the prompt recovery to all the victims. We grieve with you".
