The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow for those perished in the city of Bendery.

The note says, in particular:

“The tragic events of the summer of 1992 will forever remain an unhealed wound in the heart of the Pridnestrovian people.

We share the pain of the loss of all those who lost their loved ones and bow our heads before the blessed memory of the defenders of the Motherland.“
