The meeting of Daur Kove, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia with Husam Kudzhba, the Representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia in Catalonia was in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia today.
The parties discussed the current situation in Catalonia during the meeting. As we know, the referendum took place in Catalonia on October 1, 2017, as a result of which 90% of citizens voted for independence from Spain. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia watched with special interest the progress of the referendum and its consequences.
Husam Kudzhba also shared with the head of the foreign policy department of Abkhazia plans to promote the positive image of the Republic of Abkhazia in Catalonia by implementing projects in the field of culture. The further prospects for bilateral cooperation were also discussed by the sides.
