On 28-30 July, Daur Kove, Head of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry, takes part in the XII-th International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021", held in Kazan at the invitation of Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President.

As part of the summit the Foreign Minister met with Marat Kabaev, President of the International Association of Islamic Business (IAIB). Daur Kove and Marat Kabaev discussed cooperation prospects.

The International Economic Summit of Russia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was first held in Kazan in 2009, and since then it has become the main platform for economic interaction between Russian regions and Islamic countries.
