The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba gave an exclusive interview to Russia Today TV channel.

During the conversation with the media representative, the Foreign Minister spoke about the country's foreign policy, what has been achieved and what remains to be done.

It was about the Abkhaz-Russian relations and upcoming projects, in particular, the opening of the media center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, the Abkhazia-Syria Business Council and the UN Forum on Sustainable Development Goals.

The Minister also paid special attention to the prospects for the development of Abkhaz-Turkish relations.

Separately, Inal Ardzinba focused on the situation in the Black Sea region. “There is a wide legal base between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia. We have over 200 various agreements, including defense and security treaties. There is also a Russian military base in Abkhazia. Therefore, I can confidently declare our readiness for a variety of scenarios,” he said.
