On January 25, the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba with the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia Garry Kupalba took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

Inal Ardzinba congratulated Garry Kupalba on the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Official Representative of the PMR in the Republic of Abkhazia and noted the importance of the ongoing work of the Representation.

During the meeting, a number of issues of Abkhazian-Pridnestrovian cooperation were discussed. The parties noted the need to strengthen the legal framework between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. In particular, they talked about the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation signed 29 years ago.

The meeting participants expressed their readiness to continue joint work in order to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
