The meeting between Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Foreign Minister and the representatives of the international non-governmental organizations « Action Against Hunger» (AAH), «World Vision» (WW) and «Danish Refugee Council» (DRC) was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia on April 18, 2019.

The organizations were represented by Erwin Blau, the head of the AAH office in Abkhazia, Oksana Lasuriya, the WW Program Manager as well as Blerim Muhaxheri, the DRC Regional Manager.

The meeting was also attended by Arthur Gaguliya, the head of the Department of Cooperation with International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, Satenik Nazaretyan, the head of the AAH project, Manana Mikanba, the head of the WW project and Susan Aryutaa, social projects specialist.

The parties discussed the activities of these organizations on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia, in particular they talked on the joint project for the consortium of these organizations, “Promoting new inclusive approaches to non-formal education in Abkhazia”, aimed at teaching various groups of the population employment and business skills.

The importance of further coordination of actions of international non-governmental organizations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia was noted.
