In the Republic of Abkhazia, the attention was paid to the statement of Aleksandr Yushchenko, the deputy from the Communist Party faction made at a plenary meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on June 14, 2018.

Alexander Yushchenko touched on the topical issues of the Abkhaz-Russian alliance and strategic partnership, highlighted the social and economic development of the Republic of Abkhazia and also voiced the necessary measures to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its gratitude to KPRF and Aleksandr Yushchenko for their attention to the problems of the Republic of Abkhazia and to the development of interstate Abkhaz-Russian relations.
