The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic on the loss of life and large-scale destruction caused by a powerful earthquake in the northern provinces of Syria.

The note, in particular, says: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia shares the bitterness of loss with the families of the victims and all the fraternal Syrian people, wishes recovery to all the wounded and expresses hope for the speedy overcoming of the consequences of this tragedy, the return of the affected region to a normal way of life.”
