The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Syrian Arab Republic.

It is said:

“We note with satisfaction that strong ties of friendship have been formed between our countries, based on a feeling of deep mutual respect and trust within a short period of time. The agenda of our interstate communication is expanding. Sukhum and Damascus share a common position on the most international issues and maintain a regular political contacts. We note with particular satisfaction the effective cooperation between the foreign affairs agencies.

There is no doubt that the potential of the Abkhaz-Syrian economic, technological, scientific and cultural interaction is inexhaustible. We are confident that in the coming years our countries will open a new horizons of cooperation and are convinced that the warm relations between Abkhazia and Syria will become even stronger.

Taking this opportunity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia wishes the earliest possible establishment of peace throughout Syria, goodness and prosperity to all the people of the Syrian Arab Republic.”
