Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia met with the representatives of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) non-governmental humanitarian organization in the South Caucasus at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on February 26,2018. The organization was represented by Vincent Donto, the DRC Director in the South Caucasus and the DRC program manager in Abkhazia, Blerim Muhaxheri. The meeting was also attended by Victoria Malaniya, the officer of the Department for Cooperation with International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.
Vincent Donto told the Deputy Minister in detail on the activities carried out in the framework of DRC projects in Abkhazia, in particular, on their most significant areas in the field of economic recovery, support for small enterprises and small businesses, educational trainings as well as projects in Tkvarchal, Ochamchira and Gal regions.
Irakli Tuzhba noted the importance of the activities carried out by the DRC organization in Abkhazia and also expressed a desire to hold more meetings to successfully coordinate work between the DRC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
