The delegation of the Council of Young Diplomats (CYD) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, consisting of Astanda Pataraya, the Chairman of the CYD, Inar Ladariia, the Deputy Chairman of the CYD as well as Said Kakaliia and Valeria Tskua, the members of the CYD participates in the Third Global Forum of Young Diplomats at the invitation of the leadership of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The forum takes place in Moscow from November 13-15, the central theme of which will be "Changing of the global world order." The forum is a unique platform for interaction and an unbiased exchange of views on current international issues between young representatives of foreign affairs agencies of different countries.
More than 160 delegates from 85 countries of the world participate in the forum this year. Opening statements of the Third Global Forum were made: Konstantin Kosachev, the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Sergey Glazyev, Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The meeting of delegates with Alexander Grushko, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was held on the first working day. The forum will continue to work in plenary sections devoted to such topics as: "The role of the media, the Internet and humanitarian organizations in modern international relations," "Features of economic integration processes in modern international relations," "75-th anniversary of the Victory over fascism and the 75-th anniversary of the UN: the importance of the memory and experience of applying international law today, "" The Image of the Modern Young Diplomat: At the Crossroads of Centuries-Old Traditions and New Technologies. It is planned to discuss the Charter of the International Association of Young Diplomats as well as the adoption of the final document of the forum.
The first Global Forum of Young Diplomats was held in Sochi in October 2017 as part of the World Festival of Youth and Students. The second forum took place there in November 2018. 135 international experts from 64 countries took part in it.
