On March 18 at the Abkhazian State Philharmonic named after. R. Gumba, as part of the action in support of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and the eighth anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on the admission of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to the Russian Federation, a concert was held at which Abkhazian artists and Honored Artist of Russia Olga Kormukhina performed.

The event was attended by the Vice President Badra Gunba, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Vladimir Delba, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia Maxim Litvinov, Head of the Administration of Sukhum Beslan Eshba.

Opening the concert, Odyssey Bigvava, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, delivered a welcoming speech. He noted that the reunification of Crimea with Russia took place strictly in accordance with international law. “The result of the referendum is a clear evidence that the citizens of Crimea made their choice independently and consciously. On this significant day, I would like to congratulate the citizens of Russia and Crimea and wish them peace, good and prosperity.”
