The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Arshba held a meeting with the delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The meeting was attended by Garry Kupalba, the official representative of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia, Adgur Chegia, the head of the Strategic Cooperation Department of the Abkhaz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Georgy Dumava, the assistant to the Abkhazian Foreign Minister.
The delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic included the head of the Pridnestrovian CEC Elena Gorodetskaya, the adviser to the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie Sergey Shirokov and the head of the Committee on Economic Policy of the PMR Parliament Alexander Korshunov. They took part as international observers in the elections to the People's Assembly - the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Oleg Arshba thanked the members of the delegation of Pridnestrovie for their visit to Abkhazia and participation in the elections as international observers.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the current state of Abkhaz-Pridnestrovian cooperation, discussed issues and prospects for further development of relations.
The head of the Pridnestrovian CEC Elena Gorodetskaya, in her turn, thanked for the opportunity to be an observer at the elections to the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia, stressing that it was a responsible and pleasant mission.
At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged souvenirs.
