The meeting of the representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry with Irakli Khintba, the Assistant of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Director General of the State Russian Drama Theater named after F.A. Iskander (RUSDDRAM) was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia on May 8, 2018. It was dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the establishment of the Abkhazian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Kan Taniya, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia as well as Inar Ladaria and Victoria Malaniya, the staff of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry, the Deputy Chairmen of the CYD to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.
Opening the meeting the Deputy Minister noted that the person who for the first time initiated the creation of the Council was Irakli Khintba.
The Director General of RUSDRAM spoke on how the idea of creating the CYD was born, with what the difficulties the Council faced at the initial stages of its activity and shared its vision of the main directions of the work of the CYD answering the questions of young diplomats.
Irakli Khintba shared his diplomatic experience, noting that "Diplomacy is a process in which the constant relentless activity is important." in an interview with the members of the Council
Irakli Khintba thanked the members of the CYD to the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia for an interesting dialogue and wished successes in the future activities of the Council.
The Council of Young Diplomats to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was established by the decree of Vyacheslav Chirikba,the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, on April 17, 2014. Traditionally, the Council includes young employees of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry and students of the Abkhaz State University (ASU).
