The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia accepts documents from citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia, graduates of secondary schools, to participate in the competitive selection for admission to the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The admission of citizens of foreign countries for training under the quota is regulated by Order of the President of Russia of 04.01.2010 No. 5 – РП (on the training of foreign citizens).

Representatives of various states will take part in the quota competition. Depending on the points received for the entrance exams, it will be known which of the applicants will go to study at the Diplomatic Academy.

At the first stage, applicants must submit the following documents to the MFA RA:

a) a statement indicating the chosen direction ("international relations", "international law" www.dipacademy.ru);

b) copies of domestic and foreign passports of a citizen of the Republic of Abkhazia;

c) a certificate from the school on the performance for the first semester.

The first stage of competitive tests conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RA will consist of entrance exams, as well as interviews to identify knowledge of the following disciplines by applicants:

- foreign language (written and oral)

- Russian language (dictation)

- the history of Abkhazia, the history of Russia and modern geopolitical processes (interview).

Application deadline:

May 18-25, 2020.

Entrance tests will be held from May 27-29, 2020.
