On December 21, in the Russian Embassy building in Abkhazia was opened the mourning book on the reception of condolences at the tragic loss of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov Gennadyevich.

Vice President of Abkhazia Vitaly Gabniya, Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits and Foreign Minister Daur Kove signed the book of condolence of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Abkhazia in connection with the murder of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov and expressed condolences to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia Semyon Grigoryev.

Abkhazian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the murder of the Russian Ambassador in Ankara. Abkhazia expressed hope that customers and the organizers of the terrorist act will suffer deserved severe punishment.

The name of Andrey Karlov will be inscribed in the history of diplomacy as an example of selfless service to the Motherland.
