On 18-19 April, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to the Republic of Abkhazia.
Within the framework of the visit, the Russian Foreign Minister is going to participate in the solemn ceremony of the official opening of a new complex of buildings of the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia. In addition, Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove.
During the talks, it is planned to exchange views on key issues of the agenda of bilateral relations, as well as on strengthening the international position of Abkhazia and coordinating Russian-Abkhaz foreign policy cooperation.
