The I-st Global Forum of Young Diplomats ended in Sochi

The recommendations on the establishment of the International Association of Young Diplomats were adopted at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi on 20 October.

The outcome of the I-st Global Forum of the Council of Young Diplomats was the adoption of the final document - the recommendations of the forum participants. Among the main points is the support of the initiative to establish the International Association of Young Diplomats and the establishment of meetings within the framework of the Global Forum of Young Diplomats on the regular basis. In the work on the adoption of the final document, the young officials from foreign ministries of various countries, including members of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry, members of the CYD of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry: Inar Ladaria, Victoria Malania, Temur Rekvava, Milan Abshilava and Madina Shamba.

In total, the final document of the Global Forum on the establishment of the International Association of Young Diplomats was supported by more than 60 states.

The ceremony was also attended by Leonid Slutsky, the Head of the International Committee of the State Duma.

Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister and Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman made a speech at the forum in Sochi which was held since October 14 to October 20.

The Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was established in 2014. The agreement on cooperation between the Council of Young Diplomats at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was signed in 2015.
