On March 11, 2022 an action in support of Russia's actions to ensure peace and order in Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine took place in Sukhum at the stadium "Dinamo".

The President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania addressed the people.

"Dear fellow citizens! Today we have gathered in support of our friend and ally - the Russian Federation. We realize how difficult it was for the leadership of Russia and Vladimir Vladimirovich personally to make the decision to conduct a special military operation. There are representatives of various political parties and civil society organizations here. This demonstrates that we are united in the issue of development of Abkhazian-Russian relations, "- said the President.

Over 2600 thousand people took part in the rally.
