Comment by Inal Ardzinba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia:
"We welcome the restoration of full diplomatic relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and Saudi Arabia. In our opinion, this process will contribute to strengthening stability and security architecture in the region.

At the same time, we consider the return of our brotherly Syria to the League of Arab States, a key international organization that brings together the Arab countries, as important and necessary.

Today Syria is successfully overcoming the threat of international terrorism, and the people of Syria have demonstrated to the whole world their resilience and steadfast defense of their country's national interests.

Fundamental issues of regional significance cannot be discussed without taking into account the views of the Syrian Arab Republic.
