The 6-th regular Plenary Session of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers in the Republic of Turkey took place in the city of Adapazari (Sakarya) on November 16,2019.

Dear compatriots, brothers and sisters!

Allow me to cordially welcome all present and wish you a fruitful holding of the 6-th Plenary Session of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers in Turkey.

The Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers plays an important role in the consolidation of the Abkhazian Diaspora not only in Turkey but also in other countries of its compact residence from the first day.

We can confidently say that the Federation takes part in all spheres of the life of the Republic of Abkhazia and the activities of the Federation in Turkey contribute to strengthening of good-neighborly relations of the Republic of Abkhazia with the Turkish Republic and the Turkish people thanks to the sensitive leadership of all previous Councils of the Board and Chairpersons of the Federation.

The leadership of the Federation is a great honor as well as a great responsibility. The leadership of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers will have great tasks to popularize the Abkhaz language and culture in Turkey, to convey information on their historical Motherland to each representative of the diaspora and to serve the interests of the entire Abkhaz society.

It is especially important to recognize the responsibility when the prosperity of our people has many haters. You are all well aware of the steps that our enemies undertake wishing to embroil us with our fraternal peoples. Mistakes and unintentional actions which bear the adverse consequences for the Abkhazian and the whole North Caucasian society are unacceptable at such time.

We must always remember that the Abkhazians and Circassians are indivisible fraternal peoples. The Circassians came to the aid of the Abkhaz people and was like a brotherly shoulder in all difficult times. It is extremely important to direct the joint efforts to help strengthen the cultural values and historical ties of all representatives of our fraternal peoples for the benefit of future generations not succumbing to provocations.

Dear compatriots,

The Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers in Turkey is one of the most important public organizations of the Abkhaz diaspora whose activities for the benefit of the Abkhaz people and the Republic of Abkhazia cannot be overestimated.

Allow me to testify the gratitude of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia to all those who took an active part in the activities of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers during the past period for cooperation and to wish the leadership elected today and the Chairman of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers to continue the course laid down by the Federation as well as to achieve new significant successes.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia will continue to help strengthen the close cooperation of representatives of the Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey and in other countries with their historical homeland - Apsny.
