Zaur Gvajava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, took part in the commemoration of the leader of the national liberation revolution Augusto Sandino Calderon. The ceremony took place at Augusto Sandino Square in the city of Caracas.

The heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela were addressed by Ryander Peña, the Deputy Minister for Latin American Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and Yaozca Calderón, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,.

"On the sidelines of the event Zaur Gvadjava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela spoke with Sebastian Michel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela during which the sides exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in the directions of interstate cooperation of mutual interest.
