On October 25, the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove with the delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). The PMR delegation included the Foreign Minister Vitaliy Ignatiev, the Head of the Office for the CIS countries and the negotiation process Aleksandr Stetsyuk.
The purpose of the visit of the delegation of PMR is to sign the Agreement on mutual visa-free visits of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Agreement on mutual recognition and equivalence of the documents on level of education and qualification, scientific degrees and titles, academic certificates.
Opening the meeting Daur Kove noted the importance of the visit of the delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for the strengthening of relations between Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie. "Sustainable communications and community of interests of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic provides us with a unique opportunity for fruitful cooperation. Abkhazia will always see in Pridnestrovie a reliable ally and partner. I have no doubt that your visit will contribute to further strengthening of our relations, will give a new impetus to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie", - he stressed.

Agreement on mutual recognition and equivalence of documents on the level of education and qualification, scientific degrees and titles, academic certificates was signed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Abkhazia Adgur Kakoba and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaliy Ignatiev.
The meeting was also attended by the Official Representative of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia Garry Kupalba, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Abkhazia Adgur Kakoba, the Head of the Department of the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Nagorno Karabakh, Pridnestrovie, South Ossetia and Georgia Adgur Chegiya.
