On October 17, the Abkhazian Foreign Minister Daur Kove met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia Semyon Grigoriev.

At the beginning of the meeting Semyon Grigoriev congratulated Daur Kove on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and wished success and new achievements in the high office.

During the meeting they discussed issues of preparation for the next round of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Abkhazia and Russia, conducted in accordance with the Memorandum on the implementation of the mechanism of coordinated foreign policy, as well as other issues of Russian-Abkhaz cooperation.
