The meeting between Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Niels Scott, the Permanent Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was held at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on February 27,2018.
The meeting was attended by Arthur Gaguliya, the Head of the Department for Cooperation with International Organizations, Anne-Sophie Hellgern, the Special Assistant to UN Resident Coordinator and Oleg Protsik, Peace and Development Adviser in the South Caucasus.
The issues related to the activities of the UN specialized agencies in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia were discussed during the conversation. Niels Scott briefed the foreign minister on the current projects being implemented by the UNDP in Abkhazia as well as on the plans for the program for 2018.
A number of other issues of common interest were also discussed.
