The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation Riad Haddad.

During the meeting they discussed the current situation in the Syrian Arab Republic and prospects for the future cooperation between two countries.

Daur Kove expressed support for the legitimate Syrian Government to combat international terrorism. He also emphasized the significant role of the Russian Federation in resolving the situation in Syria. At the end of the meeting Daur Kove presented to Mr. Riad Haddid a memorable gift and invited him to visit Abkhazia at any time convenient for him.
