Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister spoke at the IV-th Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF).
It is said:
" We can say with confidence that the Forum of Friends of the Crimea is gaining wider international recognition as an important platform that unites representatives of the expert community, state authorities and political circles of various states.
In Abkhazia belong to the Republic of Crimea with special attention and interest. Our people are close and understand the aspirations of the inhabitants of the Crimea. We know what is the people's will and the right to determine their fate. The people of Crimea realized this right on a referendum in full compliance with the norms of international law in March 2014.
Unfortunately, some Western countries consider it possible to impose on the whole world conjuncture approaches, apply double standards and simply ignore the basic rights of peoples. But despite on the inertia that still exists the international community is increasingly aware of the justice of the historic choice made by the Crimeans in favor of reunification with Russia.
I am sure that holding this forum will be an important contribution to the dissemination of objective information about the Crimea, its impressive economic potential and the prospects for establishing all-round cooperation with foreign partners. "
