On February 10, 2024, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Venezuela took part in the opening of the exhibition “Russian Art of the 20th Century in Venezuela.”

On February 2, 2024, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jose Arrue, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua, Inar Ladaria, visited the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution.

On February 5, 2024, in Damascus at the Al-Shaab Palace, a ceremony was held to present credentials by the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic, Muhammad Ali, to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad.

The newly appointed Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic presented copies of his credentials to Faisal al-Miqdad, the Minister o Foreign Affairs and Compatriots Abroad of the Syrian Arab Republic.

A consular department has been created at the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic to assist compatriots living in the Syrian Arab Republic, the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Syrian Arab Republic.

Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua attended a solemn diplomatic reception dedicated to the Day of Friendship of Nicaragua and Russia at the invitation of Alexander Khokholikov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Nicaragua.

On December 16, 2023, the “International Charity Bazaar 2023” was held in Damascus with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Compatriots Abroad of the Syrian Arab Republic.

On December 7, 2023, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Venezuela took part in the grand opening of the mural “Russia and Venezuela: friendship of centuries.”

On December 5, 2023, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in a meeting with Nicolas Maduro Moros, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Federal Council of Government.

On November 21, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, took part in the opening ceremony of an exhibition of graphic works about the Great Patriotic War by Russian artist Gennady Dobrov.
