On May 19, 2025 Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in commemorative events on the 130-th anniversary of the birth of the Nicaraguan revolutionary, General Augusto Cesar Calderon Sandino at the invitation of Daisi Torres Bosquez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Inar Ladaria, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua and Alias Aiba, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy attended a ceremony dedicated to the 130-th anniversary of the heroic death in battle of José Martí, a national hero of the Republic of Cuba, poet, writer and outstanding figure in the struggle for the island's independence.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Compatriots Abroad of the Syrian Arab Republic, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Syria and with the participation of Embassies and diplomatic missions accredited in the Syrian Arab Republic (Abkhazia, Bahrain, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Egypt, Indonesia, Sudan, Paraguay, representatives of the UN and Syria), a diplomatic table tennis tournament was held in Damascus from 16 to 17 May.

On May 9, 2025, a number of celebratory events dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Berlin.

Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic discussed with Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Syrian Arab Republic the relationship of scientific research cooperation between the two countries and the importance of signing a cooperation agreement between the Abkhaz State University and the University of Damascus.

On May 8, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the invitation of Eduard Sokolov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Federation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela took part in a reception on the occasion of the 80-th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The installation of a sculptural composition depicting the raising of the Victory Banner over the Reichstag by Soviet soldiers has been completed in Caracas.

At the invitation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Nicaragua, Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua took part in a number of ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

At the invitation of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua accompanied by Javier Arrue, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Nicaragua and Ernesto Martinez Tiffer, engineer General Director of the Nicaraguan Electric Power Company (ENEL), took part in the closing ceremony of the Hugo Chavez Frias Friendship of Peoples Softball Championship.

On May 5, 2025, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the invitation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Deysi Torres took part in a ceremony dedicated to the celebration of National Dignity Day of Nicaragua.
