Accreditation procedure
The Representative Office sends to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia a note, accreditation application form, passport, four 2.5x3.5 cm color matt photographs, electronic photo in jpeg format (600x600 mm), which should be sent to the official e-mail of the State Protocol Department (protocol@mfaapsny.org), passport of accredited family members, certified copy of a document confirming the marriage of one of the spouses with an employee of the Representative Office within three working days after the employee's arrival.
The personal data of employees of the Representative Offices is confidential.
In cases where the card is lost, the person who lost the card shall immediately inform the Head of the Representative Office concerned of the loss of the card. The Representative Office informs the Abkhazian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the circumstances of the lost card within three working days. The lost card shall be replaced with a duplicate within thirty days from the date of receipt of the note by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. The duplicates of cards to replace the lost cards are issued for the term to validity of the previously issued cards, they are assigned a serial number of the issued card.
The diplomatic and service cards must be mandatorily returned to the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia at the end of the period of stay of the Representative Office staff.
