On September 10, 2025, the Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman met with the participants of the Council of Young Diplomats of Pridnestrovie - young employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and students of several faculties of the Pridnestrovian State University - at the Official Representative Office of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Alexander Vataman informed the participants of the Council of Young Diplomats of Pridnestrovie in detail about the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993, the relations between Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie, the activities of the Official Representative Office and the diplomatic service.

During the meeting, the Plenipotentiary Representative also answered questions from young diplomats. The communication went along with demonstration of photographs related to the activities of the Representative Office for the period from 2006 to 2025.

The diplomat noted that "the joint efforts of the Abkhazian and Pridnestrovian diplomacy of the last two decades have laid a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation between our fraternal Republics... There is significant potential for further development of relations between Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie, despite all the objective difficulties and limitations that exist today."

A competition for the best expert on Abkhazia was held among the participants. All representatives of the CYD of Pridnestrovie demonstrated good knowledge. The winner was a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Public Administration, Law and Social and Humanitarian Sciences Ilya Shmulsky. As a keepsake, the winner received a table flag of the Republic of Abkhazia and a notebook of the MFA of Abkhazia.
