25 years from the Victory Day in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia.
This year, one of the most important holidays in the history of the Abkhaz state took place on September 30, the people of Abkhazia celebrated the 25-th anniversary of Victory Day in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia.
The troops of the State Council of Georgia, without declaring war, invaded Abkhazia in order to destroy the Abkhazian ethnos and culture on August 14, 1992. September 30, 1993 by the cost of thousands of lives, the Abkhaz army managed to restore its control over the entire territory of the republic and drive out the occupying forces of the State Council of Georgia. The Republic of Abkhazia from that moment declared its full independence.
The fact of the struggle with the Georgian national-chauvinistic propaganda, frank assimilatory and purposeful resettlement policy pursued by the Tbilisi metropolis, lasted for a number of decades.
Having experienced a lot of hardships and deprivations, having endured the harsh trials of time and historical circumstances, the people of Abkhazia walked relentlessly along the path of restoring and reviving their true history. The people of Abkhazia will not turn away from their main goal - building a sovereign, democratic, socially - economically developed state.
In its commentary on Georgia, the RA Foreign Ministry explained:
“Once again we have the opportunity to make sure that Georgia, using its status as a UN member state, continues to take steps aimed at disseminating in international structures deliberately distorted and false information on the situation in Abkhazia and the region as a whole”
“Georgian officials, using various international platforms, are trying to actively promote false theses on the occupied territories, on the difficult humanitarian situation in Abkhazia, on human rights violations and many other things, consciously forming a negative image of our republic in the eyes of the international community”
It is necessary to add another important argument emanating from Georgia on which Igor Giorgadze, the ex-minister of state security of Georgia spoke specifically on the American Public Health Research Center of the Republic of America of Richard Lugar. According to him, they are conducting secret experiments on people and testing biological weapons. The experiments were placed in a secret laboratory in the suburbs of Tbilisi. Everything that happens in neighboring Georgia cannot but worry Abkhazia, why international organizations do not find out the truth of the purpose of this center and do not prohibit the development of biological weapons?
Despite this, today Abkhazia is an internationally recognized country that has established diplomatic relations with countries such as Russia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, the Syrian Arab Republic and other UN member states.
The development of Abkhaz-Venezuelan relations in recent years has become very successful and fruitful.
It should be noted with confidence that trusting and friendly relations have already been established, and of course, active work is underway to improve the legal framework between states, which will contribute to the further development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and Venezuela. Abkhazia pays special attention to the prospects for the development of a full-format and mutually beneficial cooperation with Venezuela and the development of relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the present stage can be characterized by a mutual desire to expand ties.
